Gandolf Norwegian Elkhound & Spitz Mix Sparta, NJ

Gandolf has lived much of his life outside and just learning about the perks of indoor living. He has a tail that curves over his back which bounces when he walks when he is relaxed and happy. Gandolf loves to sit next to you and be petted. This Elkhound mix boy is true to his breed which is being loyal & protective of his people and as a herding breed, used to guard and defend the sheep. His ideal home would be a home without children and someone who is looking for a dog to keep a watchful eye over them. Gandolf is about 6 years old and just 35 pounds. Please help Gandolf find the loving home he deserves.

Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.

Gandolf's adoption fee is $100. This covers all age-appropriate shots, vetting & microchipping.

**If you are coming to an adoption event to see a certain dog/cat, please email ahead of time to make sure that dog/cat will be there that day. Please email 1-2 days before the event, as some animals are placed during the week and our list is constantly changing.
