Yatzhee came to OTAT from Hurricane Irma territory, and when he arrived, underweight and with a bit of a cold, it was clear that he had been through a tumultuous few weeks. But this adorable little man is on the mend and in high spirits!

This 10-pound pup has the most adorable little tail wag, and from the way he prances up and down stairs, you'd never guess that he was at least 8 years old. He likes the simple things in life: mealtime, treats, cuddling up near you on the couch, sleeping through the night, following his people from room to room, and taking walks to sniff out the neighborhood. He loves being outside and will happily sniff around the yard for ages.

Yahtzee gets along great with the other dog in his foster home, and he barely notices the cat. Yahtzee is housebroken, but he occasionally marks around the house. He does not like being crated and will cry if you leave him in a crate, but he's perfectly happy lounging about the house. He would do best in a home without kids, as he can get scared and reactive when picked up unexpectedly.

This fellow has both heart and kidney disease. He is on medication paired with prescription food and totally thriving but his long-term prognosis is a bit unknown (though we have high hopes that he has many good years ahead of him) . He is vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped. If the vet deems it safe to neuter him we'll cover the cost of surgery but his heart health is the priority.
