DAISY Poodle & Chihuahua Mix Emeryville, CA

DAISY was surrendered with her mother (the poodle/maltese in the photo taken when they were in a local animal shelter) when the owner was unable to care for the dogs any longer. Our organization had already come into contact with these dogs as part of our community outreach program which provides free vaccines and spay and neuter for low income pet owners in our region, so we had already vaccinated and fixed these dogs for the original owner. When we heard they were in a shelter, we stepped in and took them into our adoption program.

Her mom was adopted and now little DAISY needs that loving home to call her own. She is super friendly and loving with people, but is a little needy so she isn't the kind of dog you can just leave at home all day. She will do best in a home with another or other small friendly dogs as they give her confidence. She is a little nervous about the world, and is learning how to enjoy car rides, walks in the park, and afternoons with friends and family. She is the sweetest little girl who just needs her confidence building.

You'll love how devoted she is when she knows you care for her. She is just about 18 months old.
