Ginger #34 Yellow Labrador Retriever Mix Killingworth, CT

Ginger #34 is 2 years old and weighs 50 lbs. She is petite and such a good girl. Ginger loves to ride and be with her people. She gets along well with other dogs and loves to run and play. Ginger is happy to be alive! She was in a high kill shelter in the south on her last days. I'm so glad we could get her to safety. June 30, 2017 Update from Ginger's Foster Mom: Ginger LOVES other dogs and is even okay with unfriendly big dogs and little yappy dogs who aren't friendly. She would be happiest with another dog that loves to play. She's crate trained and housebroken. She sleeps all night without a sound. She knows "sit" and "stay." She plays fetch, brings the ball back, and drops it. She's excellent in the car and loves to go for walks. She has medium energy and doesn't beg for food when I'm eating. Cats are iffy. She does get excited and bark at them, but I think it could be managed with the right family. She is great with kids. She is very loving and playful with my daughter's 5 year old son.
