Meet Willis

Cats don't often come along as affable, agile, and affectionate as Willis. This guy is just everything. He is listed as primarily Korat, but please note that he was picked up as an intact stray and had no purebred papers pinned to his chest. But given his appearance, disposition, and characteristics, he fits the Korat breed to a tee.

Willis has endeared himself to every cat he's met in his foster home and is nonplussed by the cat-friendly dogs that live there. The cats are great company, and he WILL need a feline friend in his forever home, preferably his newest best friend, Elie, who is his wrestling partner and helps tire him out so that the humans can sleep at night. Willis purrs easily, and is an all around happy go lucky cat who loves being held, curling up in a lap, and playing.

If you are not familiar with Korats, please do some research before inquiring after Willis. True to his suspected breed, he expresses himself vocally. He has an extensive and impressive vocabulary and is not shy about using it, especially beginning at 4:am. This has been Willis' social hour for over two months. He's not asking to go outside (he's indoors only) or asking for food. He simply wants to chat and interact with his humans, who would rather be sleeping. There's no telling how long it will take to convince Willis that it's okay to sleep through the night, and anyone seeking to adopt him needs to understand this.

Willis is neutered, up to date on rabies and FVRCP vaccines, negative for FIV/FeLV, parasite-free, and microchipped. If interested, please request an adoption application to complete prior to coordinating a meeting. The American Street Cat is a non-profit organization, and adoption fees apply for all our rescues so that we can continue to help other cats in need.
