Max is an 8 years young adorable Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso mix boy.
Max came to our rescue after being dumped by his owners and was going to be euthanized at Maricopa County Animal Care and Control.
Max will go to an adult only home ... no toddlers or kids. Max would thrive in a home as an only dog but he does get along with his foster mates on a casual / visiting basis but is male selective and will guard both his food and be protective of his owner - a trait that is common in the Lhasa Apso breed.
Max is both house and leash trained. He rides well in a car. He will make a great companion for an experienced adopter.
Max is a longer coated breed that will require weekly brushing as well as regular professional grooming every six to eight weeks.
Max's adoption fee is $ 275.00. This fee includes his Veterinarian check-ups, neuter, all vaccinations including rabies and bordatella, de-worming, microchip and professional grooming.
