Clifford, the big red dachshund, is a happy guy who recently came to CARE from a rural VA shelter. He is clearly a mix of dachshund, but we are not sure what else may be making him so unique! We believe he is around two years old and fully grown at 25 pounds. Clifford is in good health, neutered and microchipped, up to date with vaccines and heart worm negative. CARE Rescue is foster-base rescue located in Richmond, VA. We do not have a facility for you to come to meet animals at. You must visit our weekly adoption stand (calendar on our website) to meet the adoptable dogs. Out of area adoptions can only be facilitated when we are able to find a volunteer to do a home visit for us and when the potential adopter already has a veterinary reference.
