Meet A Rescue Train Royal…PRINCE HARRY!
Just like the famous English Monarch he is named after, our Prince Harry is athletic and full of charm. This handsome redhead is adventurous and also very affectionate!
Harry is a year-old Beagle/Jack Russell mix that came to us because his owner asked an acquaintance to watch him and never came back to pick him up. We know a good dog when we see one at The Rescue Train, so we took him into our rescue and gave him a one-way ticket to find a FURever home.
We’ve had the good luck to have him evaluated by a certified professional dog trainer, so we have plenty of insight to this wonderful dog. His royal cuteness is active and fun. He would make a great hiking buddy, and would also excel at dog sports like agility or nose work. He's extremely smart and quite food motivated, which makes him a quick and easy learner using positive training. And nothing makes him happier than to be told he’s a good boy!
Harry LOVES PEOPLE! He can get very excited to meet new friends but he settles down quickly to be a loving and cuddly companion. Because of his breed disposition he would be best in a home without young children or cats. He has all the makings of a perfect dog in the right home. We are looking for an adopter with a compatible life style who also has experience with his breed type.
He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
