Melman - Worth the Wait Pit Bull Terrier Lunenburg, MA

Hi! My name is Melman and I'm a 60 lb Marshmellow, I mean Pit Bull. I am housebroken, crate trained and know basic commands. Foster mom says I still need to work on my leash manners but it's only because I get so excited to meet new friends.

My favorite thing to do is play with my foster sister and I would love to go to a home with a playful sister of a similar energy level. I also love walks, toys and snuggling. There is a very loud, dramatic cat here and while I am sometimes curious, I mostly try to ignore her. Since I don't always realize how big I am a home with no very small children might be best.

*Note - Melman has recently had knee surgery to repair a torn ligament. His recovery is going very well and he will be ready to go to his new home at the beginning of February.

We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
