Meet Esperanza

ADOPTED! WAHOOOOOO!! Esperanza was rescued as a stray from a neighborhood in New Haven. She was in very poor condition upon arrival-emaciated, dehydrated, badly matted fur, severe upper respiratory infection, and both eyes infected and full of puss. Her left foreleg has been dislocated at some point in the past, and a mass began to grow on her right ear. After a dental procedure, some surgery and a lot of bloodwork, she has now made a full recovery. Her decayed teeth were extracted, her thyroid has been regulated, and the growth was removed from her ear. Any donations made in her honor will help to cover the costs of her veterinary care. Esperanza is about 12-16 years old, and has been spayed, vaccinated for rabies/distemper, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
