Meet Eliza

Eliza is a gentle, elegant and sweet bunny. She enjoys to be pet on the head and comes when called. She is very smart, likes to play and toss toys around and she loves cardboard-sculpting. She is most active in the evening and early in the morning, and likes to run and do binkies on the bed.

She is calm, but not lazy. She also enjoys time on her own, and likes to hide when she is not ready for the public like a diva, but she will come out and seek for love once she had her moment of meditation...
She is ok being held, but mostly she likes to run, play and be pet. She is curious and enjoys exploring.

A wonderful, little, delicate soul, waiting for a home and a friend for life.

She is a generally healthy girl who has had a CT scan to check her teeth (which are great!). She does have a narrowing of her tear ducts which causes her eyes to be chronically weepy, but this is easily taken care of with medication- or a bonded friend to help her keep them clean! It is possible she has mega-colon, which is a degenerative nerve disease, but she's still under observation. In the meantime, the only special care she needs is eye medication and extra love!

House Rabbit Society is a rescue and educational organization. We welcome new and experienced bunny guardians. We have 40+ rescued rabbits at House Rabbit Society and our experts will help you find the perfect rabbit. Bring in your bunny for dating/bonding, stock up on rabbit toys, treats and supplies, or ADOPT a rabbit. When you adopt a rabbit from House Rabbit Society it makes a spot for a new bunny from a euthanasia list at a local shelter.
