Feather is an old soul. She has a calmness about her that is unusual in a four year old cat. Removed from a dangerous home situation, she handled the move to foster care just two weeks before giving birth to four kittens with a stoic grace. She doesn't hiss or hide if she would rather not be petted: she simply stands up and sits a few feet away, letting you know that this meeting is formal. However, when she comes to you for pets, her purrs and affection rival that of the most devoted lap cat.
Feather's kittens have all found forever homes, and now it's her turn. She's been spayed and is ready to settle down with the right person or family who will love and admire her.
