Health: Toby is in perfect health, neutered, heart worm negative and current on vaccines.

Toby's story: Toby came to JCCARE when he lost his bff, another dog and his owner had to return to work full time. He needed a human and a canine friend and was feeling sad. He recently had a dental, so he has some shiny bright teeth and is ready for a forever home that has a playmate for him. He loves to play with other dogs his size and enjoys being outside in a fenced in yard to play for short periods of time. He is reliably housebroken as long as he is taken out on a regular schedule. Sometimes he will "paw" you if he needs to go out. Toby is a very loving, sensitive , sweet natured guy. He will sit with you as long as you will pet or brush him.

My Ideal Home: Toby requires that his forever home has a fenced in yard, a canine playmate that is around his size - no cats as he likes to chase them ( he really loves to play with dogs his size!) and no children under the age of 12. (Toby is fearful of small kids.) He is pretty easy going and would love to sleep in the bed with his new family but he would be OK to have a nice open crate to sleep in too.
