Meet Iman - Myanmar Pup

Additional info: Iman is a 10 month old Ibizan hound/Cattle mix who came to us all the way from Myanmar (formerly the country of Burma). Iman, who weighs 35 lbs, has had an amazing life story so far. Her mother was rescued from the floods that ravaged Myanmar last year. Mom was emaciated and ill but managed to give birth to 5 beautiful puppies. Mom died 6 days after giving birth and three of Iman’s siblings also died - leaving her and her brother, Bowie as the sole survivors of the little family.
Iman gets along well with other dogs and would do well with the company of other dogs in the home. She is very friendly and outgoing with everyone, including kids. She likes cats but she doesn't understand how not to play roughly with them. She might be ok with a cat if there is another dog in the house to focus her energy and attention on. Otherwise - not a good match with cats. She is used to living in a pack of other dogs and puppies and can be dominant but not overly so. She is housetrained and loves her crate. When Iman was the only dog in a foster home she had a lot of separation anxiety and cried when left alone. That doesn't seem to be the case when she has the company of other dogs. She is easy to walk in a harness. She would love a forever home.
