Gertrude Chihuahua Lunenburg, MA

Gertie is a 14 year old 6lb Chi who is looking for a retirement home to call her own. She is just about the sweetest dog you will ever meet and her favorite activity is snuggling on a warm lap underneath the blankets. She does not see or hear very well but she does not let that slow her down! She loves to wander all around the house and when she is done with her exercise routine she will come over to be picked up so she can take a nap on your nice warm lap.

Gertrude is currently living with a 30lb dog as well as a cat and she is fine with both. She really isn't fazed by anything as long as she gets her snuggles. She is house trained but because of her age and size she needs to be taken out approximately every 4 hours or provided with an adequate substitute such as pee pads or a diaper. We recommend a house without small children because of her size and age but she is sweet with everyone she meets. If you are looking for the cutest lap warmer ever you've found her! Please consider opening your heart and home to this sweet senior gal.
