Emma Pointer & Plott Hound Mix West Springfield, MA

Meet Emma! She is a 5 year old spayed, Pointer/Hound mix. She weighs about 40 pounds, is housebroken and crate trained. Emma is good walking on a leash but could use a refresher training course to walk like the lady she is! She enjoys the company of other dogs and has even attended doggy daycare. Feel like staying in due to the cold weather? Emma would love to cuddle with you!

She is currently being fostered with other dogs and children and loves the company of both. In the beginning she had slight separation anxiety, but with some reassurance after about a week or two she has learned to trust that her foster family will return.

We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
