Meet Winston
WINSTON: This Lab cross likes everyone and is friendly, loving, and affectionate. He is a wonderful combination of cuddliness and playfulness: He is all for cuddling on the couch and likes to sleep on the bed, but this happy-go-lucky boy also loves to play (he is a great retriever), and he likes to chew his Kong during down times. He is a real clown and will keep you smiling all day.
This 2-year-old is well-mannered in the house and has no behavior problems. He goes to training class at his doggy day care, just so we can get more people to see him, and he is a rock star: he is a joy to train and catches on quickly.
Like all Lab-type dogs, Winston, who is about 60 lbs., does best with exercise every day: he is fine going for a nice long walk or playing, and he thrives at doggy day care. A home with a nice fenced-in yard would be ideal, because Winston really likes to go on squirrel patrol.
Winston loves other dogs, but needs some careful training to be with cats. While he is an absolute sweetie and likes children, he is too much of a powerhouse for very young kids. He would love to live with older kids who would play with him.
Like all WAG animals, Winston is neutered and fully up-to-date on vet care. WAG only accepts applications from New Hampshire residents and from residents of communities in Maine, Vermont, and Massachusetts that are on the New Hampshire border. If you are interested in applying to adopt Winston, a WAG adoption application can be found at http://www.wearewag.org/adopt.htm.
