Poe Japanese Chin Plymouth, MA

Poe is turning 8 years old in September and he is ready to find his "fur"ever home! Don't let his age fool you, he has a lot of pep and energy! He is an absolute doll and wants a home that will give him regular walks and will let him sit on your lap all day so he can be patted. He is calm and a well behaved boy. He gets shy and will hide if there is a hyper dog around but fine with other calm dogs. He loves his fruit and veggies and will do just about anything for watermelon!

Poe is up to date on all shots, neutered, and had his dental done.

Poe has elevated kidney levels and must be on a prescription diet for the rest of his life. The vet says he has a long life ahead of him as long as he is on the right food. Also, he has arthritis and disc disease in his back so he can't do too many stairs or walks that are too long. But even though he has a bad back, he LOVES his walks so he needs a home that will walk him regularly. He would prefer to be in a quiet home without kids and with someone who can spend time patting him.

He is an absolute love and needs the right home and will make a great companion to someone who is home a lot.

His adoption fee is $300.
