Meet Snyder

Snyder is a small cairn terrier or possibly shih-tzu mix that came to us from the Tri-cities area of Washington. Snyder is looking for a very special home with just one or two adults that can devote the time and attention to him that he desires. Snyder has shown signs of being possessive of the person that he considers 'his' and WILL nip to keep others away from his person. He does give a warning growl but is NOT bluffing. It IS hard to take him seriously though, as he is a tiny 8-10 lbs and has such an adorable face! The way to Snyder's heart is through walks and he loves anybody if they have a leash in their hand. Snyder needs to go to a home that understands his needs and can keep him out of situations where he may get himself into trouble. Despite the negatives this 5-6 year old boy can be incredibly sweet, goofy and lovable. And with a knowledgeable and patient home he should flourish and bring great joy.
