Meet Roc

Hey there, my name is Roc. They probably called me Roc because I am so big and strong as a rock... or maybe because sometimes I can be hardheaded like a rock :) Pits can be like that sometimes. But I love people and maybe some dogs... not all of them though. You wouldn't believe that when I came to the shelter I looked pretty pitiful and was skin and bones. But look at me now! I even won first place in the most handsome dog contest at the HOTC fair in Huntsville, AL... and I ain't afraid to show off my medal. You must have a really good fenced in yard to keep all the ladies from chasing after me, and I wouldn't mind sharing the sofa with you if it's big enough ;) just kidding. All I really want is to be loved and taken care of. I may look like a big tough guy, but I am a big softie on the inside. Come make an appointment at the rescue and ask to see Roc!
