Xena Chihuahua Columbus, OH

Xena may be a very small 4-pound package, but inside lies a pure warrior princess. Xena is a four year old chihuahua. She was rescued from a county shelter where she was surrendered for a leg injury. Upon pulling this little girl, we quickly realized her leg was the least of her worries. Xena has a condition called Megaesophagus. Her esophagus is too large to function normally. Xena needs to be held upright while she eats so that her head is higher than tail in order for gravity to help her food reach her belly. Xena is the perfect sport and loves loves loves to be held so the process is easy. Xena is looking for a forever home that can give this sweet girl the extra TLC she needs. Xena's adoption fee is only $160. She will be spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, tested for Heartworm, and microchipped.
