Rags: A Bouncing Bundle of Boy Poodle Mix Franklin, MA

Hi! My name is Rags but I am open to a name change. I am a shaggy guy in need of a haircut. A 2 year old Poodle Mix,my foster mom has no idea what I am mixed with, I have long silky hair on my ears and a bottle brush tail. My coat is a beautiful Apricot color and it stays on. I don't leave fur all over the house. I love to be outside and I play nicely with my dog foster brother. Long walks are great and I am getting better at walking on a leash. I wear a harness and I am learning not to pull but to walk beside my person. Sometimes when I see people or dogs, I get a little excited and try to hop over to them on my hind legs. In the house, I am quiet. I am content to follow my people around and snuggle up on the couch. I am equally good in my crate. I am house trained and do my business quickly when I go outside.

You need to be patient with me at first. Life on the streets taught me that I need to be cautious or I might get hurt. Because of this I hope you will let me get to know you and decide for myself when I am ready for us to be friends.
Just be kind to me, feed me, talk to me but please don't try to pet me until I let you know I am ready. It usually only takes a day or two and then I will be in your lap licking your face.

I am neutered, up to date on my vaccines, negative for Heartworm and Lyme disease and microchipped. I am a very sweet boy who is ready to find a family to call my own.
