Meet Clementine
If you are interested in adopting Clementine please go to www.TheRescueTrain.org and fill out our online adoption application on our Adopt A Dog page. We use foster homes and do not have a facility open to the public. Therefore applications are required PRIOR to meeting one of our animals and are used to set up a safe and successful adoption. Meet Citrus Sweet!
We rescued Clementine from Orange County Animal Care. She is a 7 pound, one and a half year old Dachshund/Corgi mix we like to call a Doxi! Clementine has been super sweet with all our volunteers, and the vet staff.
This little cutie (no pun intended) loves to play and go for walks, but she also settles in for lots of snuggles. Her darling personality, helicopter ears and low rider legs get her a lot attention where ever she goes.
She’s currently living in a foster home and is doing well with her house breaking. She’s a good girl and smart! Her foster is already teaching her to sit. We are looking for someone who wants to spend time with her at this young age and is around more often than not.
She has shown some signs of being protective of her food which we have quickly turned around with training. However, for this reason we do not think she would be good for a first time owner or household with small children.
She is a dog who could easily live as the only dog or be a great second dog for a small male dog. She is BFFs with the little male Chi in her video. She is intimidated by some larger dogs. She gets along well with cats.
Clementine is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
