Hank: Tail Waggin Fun! Jack Russell Terrier & Chihuahua Mix Franklin, MA

Hi, I am Hank. I am a really cute, 12 lb, 2 year old Jack Russell Terrier mix. My coat is mainly white with tan spots and ears. I am very friendly, just give me a few minutes and don't pounce on me. I like to get to know people before we get into the touchy feely stuff. Once I have had a moment to sniff you and decide that you mean me no harm, then we can be friends. I am very energetic and just love to play but I am really hard on those plush toys. I will rip them to shreds within minutes. I am good with other dogs and have been okay with the resident cats. Walking on my leash is something I do really well. I don't pull and I have a very cute little prance if I do say so myself. My perfect home would be one with people who are home during the day as I really don't like to go into my crate. I would love a big backyard that I could play in and maybe another little dog as a pal. I bark when I meet someone new. My mom taught me to be careful with strangers. I have had a few accidents since I came to this foster home. I need some reminders as to where I am supposed to do my business and it can take me a long time outside to find the perfect spot. You need to be patient. Good things come to those who can wait.

I am up to date on all my shots, neutered, negative for heartworm and Lyme disease and microchipped.
