Meet Ginger
Very sweet, well behaved Plott Hound girl!
Ginger is a sweet girl who loves cuddling with people or dogs. She does well with cats too! Ginger especially likes to curl up behind her foster mom on the recliner. She has been around kids 8 and up & has done great with them. She loves going for walks or hikes, & does well on leash. Ginger is a rough n' tumble girl when it comes to playing with other dogs. About half of her play time is spent wrestling with and playing chase with the dogs in her foster home, so a home with another dog around her size would be ideal. She will play fetch with tennis balls & actually brings the ball back to you. Ginger knows sit & will do so before getting food or treats; she is very food motivated. She does great on car rides, and is perfect in her crate. Ginger is used to getting a frozen Kong when she goes in her crate & she practically runs to get in there; she loves her Kong's so much! The past couple of weeks she has also been sleeping in her crate at night. She has never had an accident in the house. She is used to having dinner in her crate, if need be. Our partner vet estimates that Ginger is just under 3 years old and weighs 60 pounds.
Ginger's adoption donation fee is $270, which includes spay/neuter, routine vetting and a microchip. You can apply for Ginger by filling out our online application, which is found on our website www.tarashouse.net or www.tarashouse.org. Please email us at info@tarashouse.net with any questions.
