PF has added "no small children under 5 to the dog's bios & at this time, it cannot be changed. Animal Alliance's policy is that we do not adopt to families with children under 9 years.

Look at Jerry's photo, can you believe it is the same dog? What looks like a mop but hates to clean or be cleaned?! JERRY!! JERRY arrived at a big city shelter as an owner surrender and apparently this sassy 8 year old male senior Shih-tzu/Poodle mix prefers the more natural look and scent, and boycotted his previous owner's baths! Jerry was a bit fearful in the shelter and hadn't quite relaxed while he was there.. It is so loud and scary in the shelter that who could blame him! JERRY is still a bit fearful even now that he is with Animal Alliance but we hope that with a warm loving environment and a soft, gentle touch JERRY will lower his guard, relax a little, enjoy life, and most importantly..learn to love baths! Please help this unaltered senior find a safe haven where he can learn to trust people again! This pet is spayed or neutered in accordance with our strict policy wherein all animals are altered prior to adoption. This pet is dewormed, current on vaccines, and started on monthly flea/tick and preventatives.
