Meet Stella
Age: 1 year 7 months old
Sex: F
Size: 9 pounds
Adoption Fee: $350
Contact Email: Jude@art2uinc.com
Health: Stella is up to date on all vaccines, rabies, Heartworm negative and micro-chipped. Stella has a slight slip in her right knee, but our vet does not feel anything needs to be done at this time.
Temperament: Stella is sweet and delicate. Stella is a diva and prances when she walks. She is potty trained, dog door trained and walks on a leash right next to me. She sits on command. Stella loves car rides and is a perfect angel every where we go. If given the chance Stella is a runner and may possibly try to escape. It’s best to have a very secure yard that is either fenced or have a brick wall.
Stella’s Ideal home: Stella loves humans and will do best in a home being the only dog or she’s fine with one other. She interacts more with adults then she does her foster siblings. Due to her delicate nature it may be best to be in a home without children or she would be fine with grown young adults. Someone that is active and will be willing to take Stella everywhere they go. She loves nightly walks and is perfect when taken out in public. She is a show stopper and loves the attention. Stella is made for the spotlight.
More about Stella: Stella will also be a great Therapy Dog. She is very mellow when approached and is not fearful. She has a beautiful presence.
Adoption Process: To adopt a Chin from JCCARE, start by filling out the application found on our website at www.japanesechinrescue.org. The application is under the Forms menu.
If you aren’t ready to adopt yet but would like to help this dog, please click on the purple SPONSOR ME button above the name. Your donation will help us to pay for the care of this dog until he/she finds a furever home.
JCCARE also maintains the lives of many senior and special needs Chin in our “Sanctuary” program. These dogs are not listed on petfinder, as their health issues make them unlikely to ever be adopted. If you are a lover of the breed, could you please consider sponsoring one of our seniors? You can find their pictures and stories under OUR CHIN on our web site: www.japanesechinrescue.org
