Meet Garfield - ADOPTED!

07/14/2014 Garfield is a BIG SWEET LOVERBOY! He ADORES attention and being petted and being by you and purr purr purring. He has the most GORGEOUS orange tabby coloring with big wide soulful eyes that just gaze up at you with adoration. Garfield is very special because he only has 3 legs and 1 tooth! He gets around just fine but does need to lose a little weight; he does eat just fine even with only 1 tooth. :) He gets along great with other cats too. He was surrendered to a shelter when his elderly owner could no longer care for him. Garfield is around 12 years old, is neutered, had his distemper, dewormer and rabies, and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV. This handsome, affectionate boy would love to bring you love an laughter for years to come!

Meet many of our adoptable cats and kittens at the OARS Adoption Center at 810 S. Commercial St. in Neenah during our open hours: Wednesdays 5-7pm and Sundays from 11am-2 pm, or by appointment. Some cats and kittens are in foster care homes or are hosted on-site at our wonderful business partners, Pet Supplies Plus and All Creatures Animal Hospital, both in Appleton. Please email adoptions@orphananimalrescue.org to set up a time to meet the kitty/kitties you are interested in. To expedite the adoption process, you can download, complete and email an adoption application by visiting http://www.oarsrescue.org/how-to-adopt/.

Orphan Animal Rescue & Sanctuary, Inc. is a no-kill, volunteer-driven, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping homeless pets in Northeast Wisconsin. Our focus is providing the highest quality, personalized care for these pets, in a loving, homelike environment. We take in abandoned, sometimes neglected and/or abused homeless animals, primarily from other rescues and shelters. We care for these pets until they are adopted. We are completely donation supported and all donations go directly to the pets: to buy the food, supplies, medications and veterinary treatments for the homeless animals in our care. To be part of the difference, please visit www.orphananimalrescue.org.
