HANK SHREDDER Domestic Short Hair Grand Rapids, MI

Sometimes a cat's face is simply so cute I want to squish it...like a lot! But, since Hank here was new on the scene and I didn't want him to think I am a crazy person, I took it easy on him and just smooched him instead...like a lot! This handsome hunk (born in early 2011) came to us from the same neighborhood as Combo and Badger (Sid's Kids) and if you take a moment to glance at their pictures, you can see what I think is a very strong family resemblance; in fact I would go so far as to say that Combo and Hank are long-lost brothers! Lucky for Mr. Shredder that he did not contract either FIV or Feleuk while out on the mean streets of the SE side of grand Rapids, as he was fully intact upon arrival on March 18th, 2014. I was very pleasantly surprised that even though he had testosterone surging through him for 3+ years, Hank didn't have a mean bone in his jello-like body, and preferred to snuggle and cuddle rather than tussle and cause trouble - totally my kinda guy! No breaking bad for this gentle man, just making biscuits and goo-goo eyes at all the ladies:)

Now I know from looking at that marvelous mug it appears that he is missing part of his left ear, but in actuality, it was previously injured so it dips forward, giving the optical illusion that it is smaller than the other. I think this quirk makes him even more adorable than he already is, which I didn't think was even possible! He is also quite the talker and a social butterfly who likes being in the middle of the mix and hopefully the center of attention:) I am thrilled that we were able to help his rescuer out with yet another fabulous feline find, as Hank certainly deserves a chance at a bonafide home life with a family who will appreciate him for the fab cat that he is and spoil him to pieces. Since he is such a charming, gentle boy, I have no doubts that he will be staying with us only temporarily. I will miss him immensely, but more than anything I want this boy to have a home to call his own!
