Copper Pit Bull Terrier Mix Liverpool, NY

My name is Copper, and I am a 2 year-old pit mix. Goofy, fun, energetic, and handsome are just some of the words that have been used to describe me. I have a big smile and you can't help but be in a good mood when you're with me. I love everyone I meet, and I have a great zest for life. I am a really smart boy, and I would love to take an obedience class with you so that I can brush up on my manners and show you what a good boy I can be. I would do great in an active home with adults with teenage kids who have the time to play with me and give me the exercise I need. As you can see from the photos, I am quite athletic, and I think I'd make a great walking or running partner or hiking buddy. I would do best as an only dog, and if you meet me, you will discover that's all you need. I can provide you with all the fun and love and companionship you'll ever want! I can do okay with other calm dogs after a proper introduction, but like i said, I would benefit from some training and socialization so that I can learn to be the best dog I can be. I have been at the shelter for over a year, and I would like nothing more than a family of my own, a comfy bed to curl up on, and a place to call home. Oh, and if you have a big toy box, I would like that too. I LOVE to play with toys and have been known to sneak some from the laundry room and test them out to make sure they're Copper-approved.
