Fluffy (special needs) Cockapoo Mix Lawrenceville, GA

Fluffy is a sweet, old lady who needs a retirement home.  Her previous owners abandoned her at the shelter, not even caring enough to leave her name or age. Fluffy appears to be a "purebred" Cockapoo, and she is probably at least 12 years old.  She is about 90% blind and deaf, but once she learns the layout of her environment, she is able to get around just fine. Fluffy is crate-trained, though probably not totally housebroken.  Her potty accidents should be minimal, though, if she is supervised closely and kept on a good schedule.  Fluffy is as sweet as can be, very loving and friendly with everyone she meets.  She is good with kids, cats and other dogs.  Other than her limited hearing/vision, she is in fairly good health for her age. Her teeth have been cleaned (and many of them pulled due to advanced decay), so she does not require any special diet.   She doesn't need any special care at this point, just someone who will be kind and gentle with her and let her live out her remaining years in peace.  Mostly, Fluffy sleeps a lot, so a warm bed is pretty much all she asks for.  She is very good on a leash and she enjoys exploring the (fenced) backyard when the weather is nice outside.  Fluffy weighs about 20 pounds and she is fully vetted -- spayed/neutered, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and deworming. Her adoption fee is negotiable -- we are more concerned with placing her in a loving home than recouping the costs we have incurred while she has been in our care.
