Our Mission
Our mission is to work toward effective management of the domestic animal population in Orangeburg and Calhoun County through education, rescue and owner support services.
Adoption Policy
Animals are adopted by visiting the shelter and filling out an adoption application for review. Once the review and interview of the adopter is concluded, the animal is matched with someone who, based on their review, will be a good match and home for the animal.
We also partner with Petco and have animals placed at stores for adoption. The adopter must fill out the same adoption application for review and approval and again placed based on their review for the best placement.
