Allissa's Rescues
Our Mission
Allissa’s Rescues aims to end pet homelessness by building meaningful and effective relationships with community members and local shelters and taking in unwanted, sick, and stray animals until a new, appropriate home can be found.
Adoption Policy
In general, all adopters fill out an initial application that is screened. We then contact all potential fits for our animals (we do not do first come first served, we strive to place our animals only in the best possible homes), and we then narrow down to who has the right environment for our animals. We then deliver our animals to their new homes, and only leave them and finalize adoptions if the home check and meet n greet goes well.
