HEART Humane Society
Our Mission
The mission or HEART Humane Society is to bring awareness to dog and cat population issues through spay and neuter assistance and education through resource information and clinic funding assistance. Pet adoptions and fostering are also a big part of our mission, as well as working with out local animal control and animal shelter facilities. We serve Harrison County Indiana and we also partner with the other surrounding counties and wherever else we can be of help. We are a non-profit organization that relies on donations to further our mission.
Adoption Policy
We have an application that required vet information, current pet information, and references. I personally call the veterinarian to make sure all current pets in the home are fully vaccinated. References are also checked and a home visit is done for dogs.
