Why Me is a young thoroughbred mare who is incredibly smart and generally level-headed. She has been learning groundwork and has been impressive during her desensitization sessions. She can have young horse moments when being handled and likes to keep busy. She has had a few rides with her trainer, and it is clear she is ready to please and looks for a job. She has only been ridden at the walk so far but will be evaluated at the trot soon. Unfortunately, due to her angular limb deformities, her athletic ability will most likely be limited to walk/trot only. Because of her young age and current level of training, she will be better off in a trainer-type home.


Total price includes: Adoption Fee ($1,200) + Deposit ($250)* = $1,450


*At KYEAC, we require adopters to complete an inspection on the adopted horse 6 and 12 months following adoption. To ensure adopters comply with their inspections, a $250 deposit is required on all horses priced under $2,000, and a $500 deposit is required on all horses priced at $2,000 and up. This deposit is already calculated into the adoption fee. If the adopter complies with the inspections, this deposit will be fully refunded after the requirements of the 6 and 12-month inspection have been met to our satisfaction. If the adopter does not comply with their inspections, their deposit will be forfeited.
