Meet TreeStar
TreeStar is a 1 year old Quarter Horse filly!
She was rescued from a kill pen (holding area before shipping to slaughter in Mexico) located in Oklahoma, but was there at no fault of her own! She is a very sweet
girl who obviously fell into irresponsible hands for her to end up there. She was then transported to our rescue in Southern California where she finished out her quarantine.
TreeStar is a very mellow and kind girl. She is still a baby, but does not have baby attitude! She loves scratches (especially on her butt!) and will follow you around her stall for more.
TreeStar is halter broke and leads well, but is still fine tuning her leading skills. She is currently also working on picking up her feet for cleaning and the farrier. She is a very tidy girl and likes to poop and pee only in select places in her stall, making stall cleaning much easier!
If you are looking for a companion for another horse, a pasture puff, or a riding project (once she's old enough), TreeStar might be a great fit! With somebody who has the time to work with her, she will grow up to be an amazing partner, as she has so much potential to shine!
She is currently sound and UTD on deworming. She will also be UTD on vaccines at time of adoption.
