2010 Thoroughbred Mare, 16.0h
"Jazzy" is a gorgeous mare, happy, thriving, and living a pain-free life, but when she arrived at the Center, she had a painful case of uveitis which caused vision loss in her left eye. Her eye was removed, and after having a chance to recover, Jazzy is now slowly being brought back into training. She is spooky to sudden sights, sounds, and touch due to her missing eye but does enjoy being groomed. Jazzy would be best suited for a trainer-type home with someone willing to take new things slow with her as she learns to navigate life with one eye.
Total price includes: Adoption Fee ($800) + Deposit ($250)* = $1,050
*At KYEAC, we require adopters to complete an inspection on the adopted horse 6 and 12 months following adoption. To ensure adopters comply with their inspections, a $250 deposit is required on all horses priced under $2,000, and a $500 deposit is required on all horses priced at $2,000 and up. This deposit is already calculated into the adoption fee. If the adopter complies with the inspections, this deposit will be fully refunded after the requirements of the 6 and 12-month inspection have been met to our satisfaction. If the adopter does not comply with their inspections, their deposit will be forfeited.
