Like your ladies a little older? And perhaps on the thicker side? Well if so this gal is right up your alley!
Bernice is a 17.1 + hand , aged Belgian mare. We saved her from the slaughter pipeline last summer. It was obvious she lived a rough life. Over worked then thrown away….
Well their loss! Bernice is as sweet as they come and has even been cleared by our vet to be ridden lightly - she would excel as a trail horse!
(I threw a saddle on her recently and hopped on and while she is super green she was very well behaved!)
