Zurro Shih Tzu & Poodle Mix Matthews, NC

Update: Zurro before and after today! There wasn’t much dog under all that fur! He’s a little guy with a big personality. Zurro has come a long way since arriving. He gets neutered next week and will be ready for his forever home. Zurro is about 2 1/2 yrs old and less than 10lbs and is a shihpoo. Zurro would be best as an only dog in a low traffic home meaning someone that doesn’t have lots of visitors over. He has been great with both me and the hubby and usually most dogs but occasionally has been fixated on a certain dog that he then tries to bully. No kids. A nice quiet person or couple that wants to make Zurro their baby. He’s great on walks and meets both humans and dogs well on leash. In the house he’s quiet and loves his crate. Not a dog for first time dog owners which unfortunately was his previous owner and they did not socialize him well so we’ve had to start from scratch with him. So this is one of the cuties that came in today as a surrender. His name is Zurro and he’s an 2 years old 10 lbsshihpoo. Sweet dog with people and older children. He dislikes dogs due to being a pandemic doggie who didn’t get the chance to socialize enough. But he really didn’t like other dogs walking by his crate. So I think he’ll be perfectly content to be spoiled as an only doggie. Crate trained leash trained and housebroken. Zurro is not yet neutered so that will get done in March. He can be adopted or fostered now though.
