Zulu Chihuahua Mix South Portland, ME

Zulu is a around 8-9 years of age and weighs 10 lbs. She has a head tilt and scoliosis from a previous trauma. She can no longer turn her head completely. We are unaware of what has happened to her in her past. She found herself in a NC shelter with two mammary gland tumors. They were both removed. One was stage 1 and the other was not significant. Both tumors were removed and thankfully require no further treatment.

Zulu is looking forward to starting the best of her life for the rest of her life, with a new family to love. Zulu looks to her people with such love. She gives the best kisses that will just melt your heart. She loves to lay in the sun to take in the rays. She will follow her people all around the house. She loves to play with stuffed toys.

In her foster home, she would like to play with the other small dogs, but they are not interested in playing. She gets along well with the cats in the home.

She is house trained as long as you take her out often. Her foster family reports that she loves everyone that comes to visit. She has the sweetest demeaner and would be a good fit for anyone seeking a new low energy best friend.

She takes apoquel for itchy skin and eats a limited ingredient diet.
