Zoey & Leai (Bonded Sisters) Beagle & Dachshund Mix Zachary, LA

ZOEY & LEIA are one (1) year old beautiful beagle/dachshund mix sisters. They are not only sisters, but also BFFs! They were rescued from a horrible backyard breeding situation. They finally have a second chance at a beautiful life & are learning how to be play and be carefree. They are adorable running back & forth in the yard playing together! They get along great with other pups & love to snuggle. They are both very affectionate with one another and with their humans. Both are very sweet-natured pups. They are house and crate trained & live inside the home with their foster family without accidents. They sleep well at night & are very quiet. They entertain one another & as a pair would be wonderful family pets. Their foster mom is working on leash training & they are catching on very well. They are a "2for1" deal and must be adopted together, as they are very interdependent.,

Don't let their cuteness fool you, they are the cutest little escape artists you'll ever see! Both extremely athletic, they can jump and clear a 3' fence! After being contained in a very small space for their entire lives, they are having a blast exploring their new environments. They can dig out of a yard if left unsupervised for too long. This is a puppy behavior which they will likely outgrow, but we will require that any potential adopters have a fenced yard, with a minimum height of 5', as well as an underground electric fence or equivalent to prevent these little subterranean Houdinis from digging out!

They are both up-to-date with their vaccines. Both spayed, micro-chipped & HEARTWORM negative. Their adoption fee is $300 (for both). We do require a completed application prior to scheduling a meet and greet with the prospective family.

IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED for Leia's new furever family we require the following:

*We believe that Leia & Zoey are bonded sisters. Given their sad history & rescue from a sad breeding situation, we are attempting to ADOPT BOTH SISTERS together. NOTE: We only ever require this in very rare situations; however, we truly believe they will be happiest together, as being apart causes them both stress.
*This pup requires a minimum 5' fenced yard, as well as anti-digging deterrent (i.e. electric underground fence).
* Experienced pet home with verifiable vet references/history preferred, but we realize that everyone has to start somewhere, so all applications will be considered.
*Verifiable good veterinary history INCLUDING regular vaccination/visits and Good Heartworm Prevention history is a MUST!
*Adopter must be able to have time to spend with the pup and be able to provide the pup a safe environment to live.
*ALL our dogs are expected to be primarily INSIDE dogs. They MUST sleep inside the home. We truly understand that some folks have working dogs (i.e. farmers, ranchers,etc); however, the majority of our dogs have had a rough life prior to coming to us & we want to make sure that they are showered with LUV & maybe even a bit spoiled for the rest of their lives.

Other facts are also considered, including whether children or other pets are a good fit with the dog.

Must Luv Dogs reserves the right to deny any applications that we don't think are a good fit with the pup. Our first & foremost concern is the dog's best interest. It is our MISSION to place them in a home that is a great fit for their needs for a lifetime of luv & being part of a family.

*We will consider adoptions in any area; however, will do not ship or transport a puppy under the age of 12 mos. We will ONLY transport an adult dog on a transport approved by MLD, at adopter's expense.

Please note that all of our pets are in private foster homes. In order to reduce any stress or confusion for our pups, we require a completed, approved application BEFORE setting up a meeting for any of fur-babies.
