Meet Zeus
Zeus is 12 years young and weighs about 10 lbs. You would never know he was 12 when you meet him. He acts like he's 3 years old and is a very spry, fun loving and high energy boy. Zeus loves people, including children. He is great with other dogs however he does get intimidated with large dogs so smaller and similar sized companions are best. Zeus is currently being fostered on a 3 acre ranch with horses and he has adapted well to it. He would do equally well in a home with a normal sized, easily accessible backyard as long as it is fully and securely fenced. Zeus can easily do a mile walk a day and loves every minute of them. During the afternoon, he enjoys just lazing about and bathing in the sunshine or inside on the couch patiently waiting for belly rubs and hanging out with his people. He blends well with most energy levels and can totally be a couch potato when you are but when you're ready to go, he's up right with you and always ready to roll.
Zeus can get antsy, anxious, and vocal when in new situations and environments. He is much more of a homebody than a dog to travel to a families house or take shopping trips with. He isn't crazy about car rides either however he has been working on them and does much better now. He may do much better if this is something that you continue to work with him about and may mellow out more if consistent.
He would love to have somebody who is home often however with that being said, he can be left alone in the house for 4 hours with zero issue. He is house trained with the exception at night, he often goes potty on a pad every once in a while. Zeus is truly going to make a fabulous little companion for a family and he has so much love to give you.
