MY AGE: DOB 4/28/18 WEIGHT: 10 lbs

MY STORY: Zara is a beautiful breeder surrender who has blossomed!! She was shy in the beginning but in her adjustment time she has opened up and her true self is pretty awesome!!

Zara is NOT a barker which is amazing. She will walk up for pets and give little kisses to wake us up in the morning. She is short but will jump to get comfy in bed. She will eat, sleep, and walk by her person, whoever is so lucky. She is totally adorable when she gets excited and her whole butt wags.

Zara is potty trained and prefers the grass to be short to match her height! When she needs to go potty she'll pace by the door, she'll even scratch it now to let us know. She’s a smart little girl.

Zara is great with other dogs and cats. She loves seeing people and kids walking in the distance and wags her tail. She rides in the car well. She's getting used to walking on a leash and trots along.

Zara has been in a foster home for a number of months and is all ready to transition to her forever home!!

In her foster home is a dog, kitty cat and child so she’s well tested! All she needs now is YOU… please apply for sweet Zara!! The little black dog who could…and did. If you love little scruffy terriers she’s your girl.

To adopt the FIRST STEP is to complete an APPLICATION.

Adopters must be 24 years of age. We can not adopt to families with children under the age of six. We also only adopt in WI, IL, and parts of MN. Most of our dogs are strays, so the breed is our best guess.
