Yoshi Chocolate Labrador Retriever Mix Rochester, NY

YOSHI is a cute female chocolate lab mix pup who's about 2 years old and fully vetted. She's honestly been a tricky dog to find the right home for. Ideally she would find a home with another confident dog to help her confidence AND to help burn some of her energy. However, she can be dog selective. She was doing well with females but not bigger males, but now has had issues with different types of dogs. But some she can do great with. She's a sweetheart but she's got a lot of energy and needs a home with a securely fenced-in yard with no small children because of her high energy. In her previous home she got over threshold on a walk and bit owner on hand, which is why we are requiring a fenced in yard for her to get her exercise. A previous home did not give her good socialization and she needs to be given her own timetable for things. She requires medications for an allergy.

** Yoshi can get overstimulated and needs to go to a quiet home and NO apartment complexes**

Adoption fee covers: all vetting to age (including deworming, deflea etc ), spay/neuter and microchip at ~6 months at our clinic, free 30 days of pet insurance activated by a call, $60 reimbursement for completion of positive-based training classes, and lifetime support of rescue.

We are still doing application processing virtually since COVID-19 and dog meets will be individually by appointment with ONLY APPROVED APPLICANTS. We are not a shelter and are completely foster-based, so there are NO DOGS KEPT AT THE SHOP.

PLEASE NOTE: If a dog is listed as Adoptable, he or she is still available at that time. Also, our adoption area is within a several hour radius of us in Rochester, NY (NOT including Canada - sorry!)
