Xena is such a happy, special girl who is immediately best friends with every person she meets! She loves giving kisses and greeting people with enthusiastic tail wags. Don't be fooled by her age, she is always down for a game of tug of war and is an expert hunter of squeaky toys. She's a smart cookie and enjoys practicing her basic commands (sit, down, paw, stay) or solving a puzzle toy. This gal is also a nap queen and will make herself at home wrapped up in the coziest blanket that she can find! She loves sleeping stretched out in your lap or in bed on top of your feet. Her scars show that this warrior princess has been through a lot, and all she wants is for someone to love her as unconditionally as she does them.


Xena's adoption fee (normally $150) is sponsored due to a generous donation. She is spayed, up to date on core vaccines, microchipped and heartworm negative. Xena came to us with apparent trauma of her bottom lip, which hangs down and while it might look a little funny it does not cause her pain or slow her down at all.
