Meet Wrangler!!! Wrangler is a sweet baby boy who loves to cuddle on the couch, on the floor, or in a bed (both dog and human) with his humans.
When he sleeps, he makes the most amazing moans and sighs as he's breathing. He also loves to stretch out and be very long while he's sleeping. Both front and back legs go in opposite directions when he's most comfortable.

Wrangler is crate trained, although he only goes in it when the foster is out of the house. At night he will sleep in bed with this foster. He has mastered his potty training, and will "ring"/ nudge/ lean up against a bell hanging from a door that will lead him out. He has also mastered sitting while waiting for a treat/ cookie.

Speaking of outside, he loves to be out in the nice weather, and lounge in the sun. A fenced in yard would be ideal. Please make sure to have toys for Wrangler, especially ones that squeak, tough ones he can chew (but not technically eat), and soft ones that he often carries around like his own baby. This sweet boy would love to go on hikes and have another doggie friend in the house to play with as well. He will make a fantastic family member!!! Don't miss out on this handsome and sweet boy!!

Unless otherwise indicated, all dogs adopted through Fetching Hearts have received the following before being available for adoption:

Thorough veterinary examination

All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (Kennel Cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming, Microchip, Flea and Tick Prevention and Heartworm Prevention.

Spay/Neuter
All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.

VETTING NOTE: Fetching Hearts Rescue completely vets our dogs thoroughly to the best of our knowledge based on communication with our Southern Vets. If anything is brought to our attention, we treat the dog. After adopting the dog, you will be responsible for following up with all vetting going forward.

HEARTWORM NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 5-6 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
