He is a sweet and cuddly little guy that is absolutely terrified...of everything. However in the short time he has been in foster care he has already progressed by leaps and bounds! He is incredibly smart and has learnt several words and his name already.
Winter has lots of energy, gets the zoomies outside and loves to run in the backyard and bounce around. He loves to chase a ball!!! He has beautiful eyes that shine so bright when he gets to run and play.
He needs tough toys because he loves to chew them but otherwise he is not destructive in the house. He is not yet leash trained or house trained but he is crate trained and does well in it, using it as his safe place as well as being in there through the night.
Winter would do amazing with someone who is home a lot to help him build confidence and bring him out of his shell, it will be so rewarding when he trusts his forever people!
He is so lovable, loves to cuddle into you and will start to relax while being petted, this bonding helps calm him and builds trust.
He loves other dogs and we think he would do best with a confident resident dog to show him the way as he learns as he comes out of his shell more with the dogs around and joins them in running around and playing.
Winter needs lots of love and tons of patience and it will take time for him to fully come out but he is going to be one exceptionally beautiful loving dog!
