Everyone meet Winston, a 1.5 year old Bernese mix who found his way to us when his owners could no longer care for him.

Winston is good with dogs, cats and kids and is great in his crate! He is also house trained and loves a good cuddle!! Winston is great on his leash and has pretty spot on recall to top it all off.

Winston is settling in very well to his foster home. Here is what is foster mom has to say about Winston:

"Winston is a fun and goofy boy. Once he bonds with you, he is loyal to you. He is working on gaining some confidence and learning to settle in his foster home. While he is good with other dogs, he often needs reminders to stop pestering them and can be a little "over the top" for some. Winston is a dream on leash and loves to run on the trails with his foster sisters. A good game of tug or fetch is his love language. Winston is very high energy and will need lots of outlets to keep him from causing trouble. Winston was able to meet a kid in his foster home. While he did very well with this 4 year old, Winston is nippy and excitable. Therefore, we would prefer to see him go to a home with older or dog savvy children. This boy is sweet as heck and we can't wait to help him find his forever people."
