Medical Issues: dry eyes from double entropion surgery but takes his drops well on an as needed basis. Short walks and minimal stairs are recommended after his luxating patella surgery a few years ago. Currently on Apoquel for environmental allergies. Rare partial seizures that don't require medication.

History (how did you acquire dog?): Winston was found as a stray wandering the streets in a not so good area of Greenville, SC. This was an area of town where just a few short weeks prior to Winston being found, another English Bulldog covered in wounds and purple coloring was found. He was suspected to be a bait dog.

Other important info: Winston is a very happy, goofy, and loving senior bulldog. Initially coming into foster care at 6 years old with numerous medical problems which needed to be addressed, he has since managed to recover from all his issues. He is always the happiest when he gets to spend time around his humans, and is quick to offer up his belly should anyone wish to give him a rub. He spends most of his day snoozing in sun spots and loves his fluffy dog beds. He also loves his tennis balls, stuffies, and chewing bones. He is a very big fan of fetch and loves small walks. Winston is not a hiking or active dog, but would be great for someone with older kids who wants a combination couch potato/one to hit the back yard with for a bit of fun. He loves to lounge in the yard when the weather is nice, sniffing and taking in all the sights, smells, and sounds. His favourite spot is sitting in the garden soaking up rays. He does guard children's toys and any human food he can find so older children are recommended.
