Meet Wilma
This beautiful girl is Wilma!
Wilma is an approximately 4-year old female Labrador mix and weighs around 55 lbs. She had lived her life on the streets until she came into the rescue.
What a wonderful dog! She has a very calming nature and is so gentle. She is not high energy and is happy just following you around and being near you. She does have some separation anxiety when left alone, but it seems to lessen with another dog in the home, a calm one. Although, she is very tolerant of dogs.
Wilma has been great with the kids she has met and would do well with kids of all ages. We feel she would do best in a low-key and quieter environment with someone who is home quite a bit.
Wilma seems to do fine in a crate if there is another dog around, she stresses some alone, but does need to be crated when left alone until you are sure she will not be destructive..
Wilma is house and leash trained. At least she did not have any accidents when she has stayed at people's homes between being boarded.
Wilma is spayed, current on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $200.
Since Wilma is in a boarding situation, she qualifies as a foster-to-adopt or just as a foster.
